Product performance:

1. High abrasion resistance

 UHMWPE ranks first for its abrasion resistance  in plastic line, whose capacity exceeds some certain metals'. Its abration resistance is in direct proportion to the molecular weight, that is molecular weight is higher, the abration resistance is stronger.

2. Superior impact resistance                               

The impact strength of UHMWPE is at the top one among engineering plastics, is two times than that of PC, ABS five times, POM and PBTP more than 10 times. Its impact intensity will be increased when the molecular weight get more, however, when the molecular weight is up to 2.2 million, the impact intensity will reach to its maximum).

3. Self-lubrication

UHMWPE has excellent self-lubrication because of its very small friction coefficient which is 0.05-0.11. Its lubrication is second only to the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in the circumstances with no lubricating conditions. When it works through sliding or rotating, its lubrication is better than steel and brass with lubricating oil.

4. Excellent chemicals resistance

UHMW-PE has good resistance to chemicals, which can be against of corrosive mediums, such as acid, alkali, salt and most organic mediums, in the scope of certain temperature and concentration, but except fluoride acid liquor with high degree.

5. Absorption of impact energy

UHMWPE has wonderful absorption of impact energy which is the highest among all plastics. Therefore, UHMW-PE has fine noise damping and reduction.)

6. Healthy and non-toxic

UHMW-PE is health and non-toxic and is in line with the standards of Japan Health Association. UHMW-PE has got the approval of the Food and Drug administration and the Ministry of Agriculture of the United States, which can touch foods and medicines directly.

7. Non-sticky Performance

UHMW-PE has low non-sticky adsorbility, which is behind to PTEE, which is famous for its non-sticky performance. Thus, the surface of products is hard to be sticky to other materials.

8. Hydrophobicity.

UHMW-PE has a low rate of water absorption, which is generally speaking less than 0.01 percent, about 1 percent of PA6.Therefore, UHMW-PE needn't drying treatment before forming process.
